What Is Curio?

Curio is a collection of creative pieces by West G students, including art, writing, photography, music, and more. Each month, we feature "editions"; themed batches of creative pieces where students are encouraged to work together, share ideas, and challenge themselves. However. anyone can submit any piece -- as long as it follows our submission guidelines -- and be featured on our blog, as well as receive advice and constructive criticism if they so desire.

Our staff meets every Friday, 5b, room 124, to discuss edition themes, submissions, and other Curio-related business. On Mondays and Wednesdays, also 5b in room 124, we hold workshops, where students can come and work on their pieces. We also occasionally showcase different artistic mediums during these workshops, ranging from crochet to fabric marbling.

Don't be afraid to submit your work! Creativity is a process, and sharing your work is a vital piece of this process. If you'd like to join our staff and help run the blog, provide advice, advertise what we do, or help around our workshops, email Mr. Connell or contact Valerie Angie with your interest.
